Additionally, there was no evidence of any salt or moisture carryover downstream of the Drop Safe ® filters, reducing the risk of costly turbine blade repairs, cleaning and downtime.

Statoil has since refurbished all of the main ventilation air intake housings on three other North Sea platforms with 19 new Infinidry ® filter units, including over 700 Drop Safe ® pockets.
